Few reasons why domaining is such a great business

I guess some of you already know that and probably you are asking yourself: why does he posting this?! Now we will have more new guys in domaining business taking some of good domain names that should be ours!
Well, first of all, I’m not affraid of competition, never even was. Internet is so big that everyone can have his part of the online business cake, in what ever niche he fits to.
That counts for domain name business as well, at least if you ask me. Everyone have his own sources of domain names and therefore, you don’t need to be affraid of competition if you have good sources.
Now, why I think domaining is such a great business? First of all, it doesn’t take a lot of time at all! You can spend about an hour each day to find new domain names, register them and put them on sale immediately.
If you want to develop them first, which is recommended for all freshly bought domain names, you don’t need to spend more than 1 – 2 hours per domain name. If you don’t know how to do it, I will post about that soon and then you can find out how you can put working websites online to gain more traffic, search engine placements and similar, and in the same time you can earn money with affiliate programs or AdSense. But, more about that subject in a day or two.
Second reason why I find domaining as a great business are possible earnings. You can easily earn 2, 5, 10 or even more times more than what you invested. For example, let me tell you about the reason that gave me idea for this article. I’ve found that domain name on the list of expired domain names, registered it quickly and posted thread on one related forum that I’m selling that domain name. The day after I made that post, I’ve got inquiry about that domain name, gave my price and other side accepted it, made a payment to my account, I have pushed domain name to his account and we closed the deal! Easy as that!
Now, the best part is… how much I made on that sale? First of all, time that I spend „working“ with this domain name was about 30 minutes while I found domain name, registered it and posted that one single sale thread. I guess those 30 minutes doesn’t worth very much, right? OK, I’ve spent $8,81 for domain name registration at Namecheap (using discount coupon codes) and I sold this domain name for $50! I could probably ask more and other part would accept it, but making more than 5 times more than I invested sounds very good to me.
And this is not the only case where I manage to earn a way more than I invested in a domain name. Since I’m not guru in domaining nor someone very smart, I think that everyone can have similar success in buying/selling domain names. What is very important in this business is good source for finding domain names, and so far I didn’t find anything better for finding good domain names than lists of expired domain names. Such a lists gave you lot of daily expired domain names that are free to register and most of them can easily be sold immediately.
Wish you successful online business!
